Easy methods to make On the spot Pot beef chili

  • In your Instant Pot, sauté the onion for five minutes;
  • Brown the meat;
  • Add the remaining components (kidney beans, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, spices, water, Worcestershire sauce) to your On the spot Pot;
  • Prepare dinner on excessive strain for 12 minutes;

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
  • 1 (15 fluid ounce) can red kidney beans drained
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 (28 fluid ounce) can diced tomatoes with juices
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (smoked works too!)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Add the onion and olive oil to your On the spot Pot and sauté for five minutes.

  2. Add the bottom beef to the On the spot Pot and brown it for a couple of minutes, breaking it up together with your spoon.

  3. Add the remaining components to your Instant Pot and provides it a stir.

  4. Shut the lid, set the valve on “sealing”, and cook dinner the chili on excessive strain for 12 minutes. It’s going to take about 10-15 minutes for the On the spot Pot to come back as much as strain.

  5. As soon as the countdown has completed, fastidiously do a fast launch. Alternatively, you can also let it depressurize naturally if you want.

  6. Serve with desired toppings and luxuriate in! Chili freezes effectively.

Recipe Notes

  • Use canned fire-roasted diced tomatoes for additional taste.
